In every newsletter issue, you will find a favorite family recipe...the cookies we bake and serve daily...the homemade soup and bread for Autumn days...the strawberry pie at the summer picnic...etc. If you have lost or missed an issue, here is a collection of the recipes we have printed in previous newsletters.
Issue 1 ~February 2010

Gingersnaps
1 c sugar
3/4 c margarine (I use 1/2 Crisco & 1/2 butter)
1/4 c molasses
1 egg
2 c flour
2 t soda
1/2 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t ginger
1/4 t cloves
Blend first 4 ingredients. Add the rest and mix well.
Roll dough into 1" balls and coat with sugar.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet on 375° for 8-10 minutes.
